Peter Lund was born in Flensburg and has lived and worked as a freelance director and author in Berlin since 1987. Numerous productions at German-language municipal and state theaters have taken him to Braunschweig, Bremen, Hamburg, Hanover, Basel, Innsbruck and Vienna, among other places. From 1996 to 2004 he was a member of the management of the Neuköllner Oper in Berlin, where many of his plays were premiered, including the musicals DIE KRÖTZKES KOMMEN! with music by Niclas Ramdohr, BABYTALK, ELTERNABEND and GRIMM with Thomas Zaufke (German Musical Award “Best Book” 2015) as well as DAS WUNDER VON NEUKÖLLN and STELLA with Wolfgang Böhmer, (“Best German Musical” 2016). His plays are performed at numerous stages in Germany and abroad. Since 2002, Peter Lund has been a professor in the Musical/Show course at the University of the Arts. EINE STIMME FÜR DEUTSCHLAND is the 19th co-production with the Musical/Show program of the UdK.
